Hiroko Yamanaka is a Japanese female mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter. She currently fights in Jewels and was the final Smackgirl Open Weight Champion.
Yamanaka is currently the #3 featherweight (136-145 pounds) according to the Unified Women's Mixed Martial Arts Rankings and the Independent World MMA Rankings,and ranked #12 pound for pound by MMARising.com.
Yamanaka made her debut in submission wrestling in the 2006 Smackgirl Grappling Queen Tournament, being defeated by American fighter Roxanne Modafferi by decision. She fought two more times on August 31, 2008 (2008-08-31) at Gi grappling 2008, first winning against Akiko Naito and then losing against Sayaka Shioda.
Yamanaka had one kickboxing match in Shoot boxing on August 23, 2009 (2009-08-23), defeating Mayumi "Super Benkei" Aoki, whom Yamanaka had previously defeated in MMA, by TKO in round one in the 2009 Shoot Boxing Girls S-Cup.
