Jackie Nava

    Jacqueline Nava Mouett (born April 11, 1980 in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico) is a Mexican boxer in the Super Featherweight division and is managed by former world champion Erik Morales. She's best known for being the first ever Women's WBC Champion (Laila Ali was the second).

    Professional career

    In April 2004, she won the Mexican National Super Bantamweight Championship by Knocking out Ofelia Dominguez.

    WBA Female Bantamweight Championship
    Jackie would win her first world title, the WBA Female Bantamweight Championship by beating Martha Leticia Arevalo in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico.

    WBC Female Super Bantamweight Championship
    On May 5, 2005 Nava won the first ever WBC Female Champion. When she beat Leona Brown to win the Inaugural WBC Female Super Bantamweight Championship.

    Interim WBC Female Super Bantamweight Championship
    During 2007 she beat Donna Biggers and won the Interim WBC Female Super Bantamweight Championship.

    In her last fight she beat Maria Andrea Miranda to keep her title.
