Ever since high school, I was the shunted one where no girls are in my circle of close friends. Yeh, they were friends alright. Back-stabbing byatch! Those jakuns, who can't even dress properly, often breaking the rule of fashion industry. In fact, they should be arrested for even walking around in those fugly outfits! A tee with a huge bear in the middle, and long khakis. *shivers.
Oh well, I ain't dedicating this post to them so thats it about the friends of my high school period. Now, moving on to my college life, I, astonishingly found my group of true friends. And they are effing FEMALES! =) Boy was I glad to be able to have them in my life! We even have a nick for our group, i.e. Ham family. It all started when my friend began commenting on how I look like a hybrid between a hamster and a rabbit. Hambit, as they would call me. Then there's this hambear (hamster + bear), ham fish (hamster +fish), ham mom/ham cat (hamster+cat), & ham worm (hamster + worm). We have been together ever since then, in spite of the fact that us all have moved on to different areas, even overseas. Truly, I can't imagine a life without these people. =)
Also, whilst staying in a rented room during college. I met this other group of friends, Duckie, Turtle, and Lizard. Initially I never would have imagined myself being close to them because they are chinese educated and I am not. My thinking was we would have different perception of things and clashes of opinions, but Alas, I was wrong. eventually, they, too, moved on to different parts of the world, but our bonds still growing strong by the day.
In the same house, I had this crazy housemate as well. Her being my ultimate bestie was out of the topic because she left for UK. And I thought, our friendship ended there and then. Again, I was proven wrong over time. We kept in touch via chat tools. She returned, and we met. We were inseparable since then. The best thing that has happened to my life was when she introduced her bunch of whacko friends to me. Our first meeting together and UHU glue's effect took place. I love them more than anything in the world. They automatically brighten up my day right after a dark storm landed on my doorsteps or when I woke up at the wrong side of the god damn bed! Laughter is part and parcel of this friendship. It never fails to appear when we meet. We talk about almost everything. Well, EVERYTHING! So this post is dedicated to these awesome friends of mine. My best friends. Especially Cheryl, Su Wen, Sharizal, and Jo Jo! You guys totally rock my world.
