In just a month or so, we will see the limited-edition MAC Hello Kitty Collection collaborated between MAC Cosmetics and Sanrio make its debut. This most raved about collection will be released on February 10th on the MAC website, and will be available at all MAC counters and stores in Northern America on February 12th, 2009.
This time, MAC Cosmetics invited various fashion designers around the world to design twenty couture pieces inspired by Hello Kitty, and will be presented to the world on February 5th, 2009, a week before the kickoff of the upcoming New York Fashion Week.
Part of MAC Hello Kitty CoutureThe fashion designers involved in the MAC Hello Kitty couture design include Catherine Malandrino, Charlotte Ronson, Herve Leger, Kai Kuhne, Rosa Cha, Ruffian, Tadashi Shoji, The Blonds, threeasFOUR, Tibi , Vicente Villarin , Giles, Sinha Stanic, Blumarine, Dress 33, Elie Saab, Emmanuel Ungaro, Manish Arora, Bumseok Choi, Qiu Hao, Zimmerman, Kate Sylvester, and Shu Chi Huang. All the Hello Kitty-inspired couture pieces will be auctioned off on the internet. All the proceeds will be donated to related institutions to support young emerging fashion designers.
